The Customer Challenge
Titan Partners faced the challenge of building a petroleum storage and distribution terminal to safely bring North American fuel to the region. The project required meticulous planning and execution to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal environmental impact. The goal was to create a facility that would enhance local access to low-cost gasoline, diesel, and other refined products, supporting domestic energy production.
The Sylvan Solution
Sylvan, as the general contractor, took on the responsibility of this complex project. Our team self-performed all mechanical and structural activities within the terminal fence, demonstrating our expertise and commitment to quality. We completed over 14,000 weld inches with only one minor repair needed, showcasing our precision and skill. Additionally, several hundred spools were detailed and fabricated on-site, with less than 2% requiring adjustments. Our team worked 35,000 manhours without a single recordable incident, highlighting our dedication to safety and efficiency..
The Results
Thanks to our team’s commitment, communication, and coordination, the project was completed on schedule and under budget. The new facility now provides local consumers with greater access to affordable fuel, supporting the region’s energy needs. The successful completion of this project was celebrated with a grand opening in November 2022, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the region’s energy infrastructure.
