Accounts Payable Specialist
Sylvan, Inc. is a market-leading, trusted industrial services contractor to Fortune 500 companies. We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for our Dearborn, MI office. Job Responsibilities
- Processing of AP invoices for job costing, overhead, expense reimbursements, and entering against purchase orders into accounting software (Vista).
- Reconcilement of invoices in system to vendor statements
- Communicate with vendors on payment inquiries and any account issues
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounts payable experience (preferably in Construction Industry).
- Experience with integrated accounting software systems.
- Experience in Viewpoint Vista preferred.
- Ability to resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Strong capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
