Vice President of Operations
Eric Farron is our Vice President of Operations for Sylvan Canada with a proven track record of over 20 years in the automotive Tier 1 sector. He has successfully led the design and construction of numerous hot forming and assembly facilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Eric is renowned for his expertise in Lean methodologies, including T/VSM, 5S, Visual Management, Pull Systems, and TPM, which he has effectively integrated across various projects to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Eric’s leadership style is collaborative, inclusive, and solution-oriented, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety. He has directed comprehensive health, safety, and sustainability initiatives, achieving significant reductions in environmental impact and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 standards. His approachability and enthusiasm for continuous improvement have made him a natural leader at Sylvan.
One of Eric’s notable achievements includes guiding a major business unit through acquisition and corporate restructuring, solidifying a five-year strategic plan, and launching two greenfield facilities simultaneously in the Southern U.S. and Canada. His innovative approach to hot stamping, lasering, and joining techniques has led to several patented production methods, addressing complex challenges in automotive manufacturing.
